Why Choose Ace Roofing in Columbus? Our founder, Steve Reel, started his career as a sub-contract roofing installer in 1991 for the largest roofing contractor in Columbus. By 1994, he became the company's top producer. While working for this company, he observed that they had very strict inspections and high standards for their finished product.   These high standards of quality had earned that company an exceptional reputation in the industry. In 2001, he started training as an estimator and gained more knowledge of the science of roofing and sharpened his ability to diagnose leak problems.  Most importantly, he perfected the ability to listen and accommodate the needs of the customer with a vast array of roofing products and solutions.  When he took a sales position at a smaller company, he then realized that the company's management did not share his commitment to excellence.  In July of 2009, after he was reprimanded for representing the best interests of the customer, he resigned from his position and began his own company.  In the words of Vince Lombardi,  "The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to his or her commitment to excellence."  This quote has become the core mission statement of this company's leadership, customer service, and product  quality.
